Dan was a Vietnam Vet in the US Marine Corps.

Before his diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia, he was a family man that was always there for everyone and never raised his voice.

He married the love of his life, Christine, in 1987 and they raised a blended family of 5 kids. He never missed a ball game and was always there for all of his kids. They enjoyed camping every weekend where he would make his famous soup beans.
